The prepared silicone then goes into the cutting machine, before going into the compression machine, to ensure consistent size and shape and improve the compression molding efficiency.
Silicone Compression Molding For Producing Silicone Parts And Products in China
Our facility in South China is equipped with new silicone molding technology, including an advanced compression molding press. Each piece of equipment is set and maintained in order to ensure the quality of every part we produce.
In the silicone compression molding process, we place a pre-determined amount of silicone into a pre-heated, closed mold that compresses the lump of silicone into its shape. The mold is held shut while the silicone cures under heat and pressure, finally being ejected as the desired part.
We can manufacture various silicone products, such as buttons, feet, o-rings, keypads, and various other custom parts. The process is beneficial because it produces high-quality, durable parts with complex geometries and excellent material properties, such as heat resistance, flexibility, and chemical stability.
Here’s the silicone mixing roller which allows us to get the right color by adding pigment to the silicone. At the end of the mixing process, it rolls the material into thin slices that are ready for the cutting machine.
The prepared silicone then goes into the cutting machine, before going into the compression machine, to ensure consistent size and shape and improve the compression molding efficiency.
The 250-ton compression molding machine (which can operate 2 molds at the same time) can be seen here. This is where the cut silicone portions are placed under pressure and heat in the mold to form the finished parts.

Examples of silicone parts/products we make
The possibilities are almost endless, but here are a few parts we’ve made in the past:
We provide tooling design & fabrication and injection molding for your plastic parts. Our engineers DFM review your part designs, providing appropriate changes to ensure the perfect tooling is designed. We fabricate the hard steel injection mold tooling, then use our injection mold presses (starting with small & midsize parts: from 90 to 260 tons) to produce the parts.
Our in-house silicone production facilities also allow us to manufacture various silicone products, such as buttons, feet, o-rings, keypads, and various other custom parts. The process is beneficial because it produces high-quality, durable parts with complex geometries and excellent material properties, such as heat resistance, flexibility, and chemical stability.
