Some of the products we assemble include many components and accessories. To receive all those parts on time and to manage their suppliers appropriately, we have had to develop strong systems.
To ensure customer satisfaction, we have to plan carefully through all the steps, from issuing the purchasing orders to component suppliers to shipping a batch of finished products out.
Many manufacturers do not have a planning system, and that means their forecasts about shipment dates are far from reliable. To avoid that pitfall, we have developed a planning system that includes and tracks all the steps that may have an impact on the shipment date.
The more complex the product, the more vital this is. When a bill of material has 50+ lines, it becomes very easy to forget re-ordering one component… and delaying the whole batch.
We have been developing our own ERP system in-house, to support the unique way we want to operate. Our ERP helps us manage the following areas of the business in a more structured and efficient manner and includes:
